The CFMEU Canberra Raiders have named a 23 man squad for their opening NRL trial of the 2010 season against the Brisbane Broncos at Ballymore Stadium on Saturday night.
Captain Alan Tongue has been named in the squad after recovering from a hand injury, while Travis Waddell has also been included in the squad after being cleared of concussion following last weekend’s All-Star match.
The Raiders will be without two of their NRL stars with Tom Learoyd-Lahrs being rested after picking up a slight shoulder injury in the All-Star clash, while Joe Picker is a late withdrawal after he injured his ankle at training earlier in the week.
