Conditions of Entry - Toyota Forklifts Lift My League (Promotion)

ENTRY CONDITIONS

This document contains the terms and conditions of entry (“Terms”) into the ‘Lift My League’ competition. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms. One (1) prize available in total to be won.

The Promoter is Canberra Raiders Pty Ltd, ABN: 31 068 819 152, 14 Torrens Street, Braddon ACT 2612 Australia (“Promoter”).

The Prize Supplier is Toyota Material Handling Australia, ABN: 38 104 644 635, 8 Secombe Place Moorebank NSW 2170  (“Supplier”).

The Promotion will open Australian Daylight Saving Time (“ADST”) on Friday 10th May 2024 at 9am and will continue until Friday 31st May, 2024 at 5pm, Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) (“Promotion Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter/Supplier during the Promotion Period.

The Promoter and the Supplier reserve the right to change the Promotion Period at any time. (e.g. extend the promotion closing date, in order to deliver the agreed digital value scheduled for the Promoter / Prize Supplier)

The promotion is open to the Canberra Region Rugby League only, Club and Team  participants in the 2024 season, teams that are 15 years of age and below.  Excluding employees of the Promoter/Supplier and other agencies, firms or companies associated with this Promotion, and their immediate families (“Eligible Entrants”). Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. If an entrant is under 18 years of age, they must have their parent or guardian's consent to enter this promotion. The Promoter/Supplier reserves the right to request this consent in writing.

The total value of the prize is $2500.00 (including GST) based on the following prize: Canberra Raiders NRL Captain’s Run Experience for 1 x Canberra Region Rugby League junior team U15 years of age or younger. Watch the Raiders NRL team train (Saturday July 27), meet and greet with the players, GIO Stadium Canberra tour, double pass (General Admission Ticket) for each team member to watch Raiders v Rabbits, Sunday July 28.

To register for the Promotion, entrants must during the Promotion Period, visit the enter to win competition page for this promotion, fill in all the required fields and click the submit button at the bottom of the page.

The Promoter/Supplier, subject to State and Territory legislation, reserves the right not to accept a registration for any entrant (or to disqualify an entrant) if the Promoter/Supplier considers that the registration contains anything defamatory or is otherwise inappropriate or is not submitted in accordance with these Terms.

An entrant may only register as an individual with only one valid entry per person accepted into this promotion.

The prize draw will take place at Canberra Raiders HQ, 14 Torrens Street, Braddon, ACT 2612, Monday 3rd June 2024. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier, reserve the right to change the prize draw date at any time.

The winner of the prize will be notified by telephone and in writing, within two (2) business days of the draw. The winner acknowledges and agrees that their name will be published electronically within the Canberra Raiders website and may also be communicated through Canberra Raiders social media. The winner also acknowledges and agrees that their name may also be published by Toyota Material Handling Australia website, social media or email communications.

In the event the winner is unable to be contacted, and all reasonable methods of communication are unsuccessful, the unclaimed prize may be re-distributed via an unclaimed prize draw conducted by the Promoter/Prize Supplier within two (2) days of the original prize draw.  

The Promoter/Supplier collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, agents, contractors, service providers. Entry is conditional on providing this information.

By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Entrant agrees and acknowledges that:

a. They may be contacted by the Promoter/Supplier to provide comments about Canberra Raiders / Toyota Forklifts promotions and offers.

b. They may be contacted by the Promoter/Supplier to communicate with you by means of direct mail, email, phone, SMS and MMS messaging, including for direct marketing purposes. On such occasions, you will be provided with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving further marketing information. You may also contact the Promoter/Supplier at any time if you do not wish to receive marketing and/or promotional information.

The Promoter/Supplier may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information gathered for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter/Prize Supplier. All entries become the property of the Promoter/Prize Supplier.

For avoidance of doubt, entrants consent to the Promoter/Supplier using their name and image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion and subsequent similar promotions.

The Promoter/Supplier reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and age) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoters / Suppliers discretion. Failure by the Promoter/Supplier to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter/Prize Supplier reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into about this Trade Promotion, excluding Regulatory organisation obligations.

Any ancillary costs associated with receiving the ‘Prize’ is not covered by the Promoter/Prize Supplier. These costs need to be funded by the prize winner.

The prize offered is subject to change at any time, however is unlikely to change. The Promoter and the Prize Supplier reserve the right to offer a substitute prize of comparable value if for some reason, the prize stated in these Terms and Conditions is not available. (e.g. Restrictions due to Covid-19)

As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner may be required by the Promoter/Supplier to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Supplier in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or the Supplier, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter/Supplier reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

a) to disqualify any entrant; or

b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter/Supplier (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:

a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters/Suppliers control).

b) any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;

c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter/Supplier) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter/Supplier;

NOTES:

a) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize, and/or directions by the Promoter/Supplier representatives;

b) The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
