NYC - CANBERRA RAIDERS V NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS

SUNDAY MARCH 16, 2.15PM, HUNTER STADIUM

The Raiders NYC side welcomes back star forwards Luke Bateman and Tevita Pangai Junior for their clash with the Newcastle Knights this Sunday.

The talented duo were missing from the side that went down 42-26 to the North Queensland Cowboys and their inclusion in the line-up will provide Canberra with a significant boost.

Sunday’s match will also see the debuts of two promising youngsters, Jake Wheeler and Ezra Howe.

Wheeler impressed Raiders talent scouts after playing for Woden Valley Rams in the Canberra Cup last year whilst Howe has progressed through to the team from last year’s SG Ball side.

With the likes of Kilu Pangai and Scott Doyle shaping up to make their long awaited returns from injury, Coach Mick Mantelli has named an extended bench for the clash.

The full team line-up is:

1.      Ricky Garard

2.      Jake Wheeler

3.      Brenko Lee

4.      Jack Creith

5.      Lachlan Hurst

6.      Matt Frawley
