The Canberra Raiders will welcome back Australian Representative Josh Papalii this weekend, for the Raiders home match at GIO Stadium on Saturday against the Newcastle Knights.

Papalii returns from an ankle injury he suffered against the Knights in round two and replaces Jake Foster in the second row.

Shannon Boyd and Jarrad Kennedy also return for the Raiders this weekend from illness, with Boyd replacing Kyle O’Donnell on the Raiders bench and Kennedy replacing Joel Edwards who has been rested this weekend.

The Raiders other change comes on the wing with Bill Tupou returning from a hamstring strain, replacing Sami Sauiluma on the left wing.

Sam Mataora injured his ribs playing last weekend for Souths Logan and will miss 4-5 weeks.
