Jack Wighton, Josh McCrone and Paul Vaughan have all been selected to play for Country Origin in the annual fixture v City next Sunday in Dubbo.

It will be the first time in a Country jersey for Paul Vaughan who has had a strong start to the season for the Raiders, while Jack Wighton and Josh McCrone will make a return to the Country team after playing for them previously.

Raiders Shaun Fensom and Jarrod Croker were unlucky not to make the team after solid starts to the season for the Raiders.

Josh Papalii has also missed out on selection for the Australian team to play New Zealand in the Trans-Tasman test, after playing for the Kangaroos in their winning World Cup Final at the end of 2013.
