Raiders NYC Coach Mick Mantelli has made a number of changes to his side for the Round 10 clash with the Penrith Panthers on Sunday at GIO Stadium Canberra.

Mantelli was bitterly disappointed with the team following their 54-0 drubbing at the hands of the New Zealand Warriors and has given a number of players from the Raiders SG Ball side an opportunity this week.

From the SG Ball side which progressed through to the semi-finals earlier this year, winger Thomas Cronan, centre Cleveland McGhie and five-eighth Lachlan Lewis have been selected in the starting side whilst Lachlan Croker, Jack Williams and Ben Maguire have been named on an extended bench

In other team changes, former Queensland Under 15s hooker Dylan McGrath gets his chance at hooker in place of Trent Schubach whilst Andrew Heffernan is out with a knee injury resulting in Matthew Frawley shifting from five-eighth to halfback.

Frawley will also Captain the side in the absence of Luke Bateman who joins Brenko Lee in playing for Souths Logan Magpies in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.

Bateman's absence results in Jamal Nchouki being elevated into the starting side at lock.
