With the Raiders scheduled to have the bye this weekend, Mitch Cornish has been selected to play halfback in the VB NSW Cup against the Wyong Roos at Aubrey Keech Reserve on Saturday at 3:00pm.

Cornish's return should spark the side after Mounties went down narrowly to the Wentworthville Magpies last weekend 20-16.

Mounties now sit one point clear of rivals in fourth place however a win over Wyong is vital for the side to keep pace with the other top four contenders.

The Roos are sitting in 10th place and also have plenty to play for given their need to stayin in touch with the other sides looking to break into the top eight.

Despite their postition on the ladder, Wyong certainly can play, as evidenced by their performance on the weekend in which they were highly competitive against the ladder leading Penrith Panthers.

In other positional changes for Mounties, Wayne Dargan retains his place in the centres after scoring a double against Wentworthville whilst Clay Priest and Bill Tupou return from niggling injuries.

Mounties will be without budding star Tevita Pangai Junior after he was selected to play for NSW Under 18s in the State of Origin curtain raiser.

The full team line-up is:
