The Friday night match at GIO Stadium tomorrow night is shaping up to be the biggest of the Raiders season so far in 2014, with a huge afternoon and evening planned to help celebrate the 20th anniversary Raiders premiership in 1994.

The Raiders will be hosting a special dinner pre-game to remember the 1994 grand final with a host of former players from the Raiders and Bulldogs in attendance. These players will join the current Raiders squad for a member’s only function in the Meninga Lounge Post game.

To celebrate the Raiders will be giving out 15,000 special edition posters called ‘Six of the best’ featuring caricatures of 94 grand final heroes Mal Meninga, Laurie Daley, Steve Walters, Ricky Stuart, Ken Nagas and Jason Croker. These will be given out at both entrances to GIO Stadium.

Gates open at 3.30pm with three live games from 3.45pm, staring with the second round of the GIO Cup between local school Erindale College and Hunter Sports High.

This match will be followed at 5.30pm with the Raiders NYC match between the Raiders and Bulldogs, with kick-off of the main game to start at 7.45pm between the Raiders and high flying Bulldogs.

Off the field there is plenty happening, with fans reminded to bring their season guide coupon for Jerseys Megastore to receive $5 off any purchase at the game day outlets.

There will be a huge halftime performance by the Emeralds and Raiders junior cheers squads involving over 60 participants and an awesome vocal performance from Nikki Canale.

There will be eight junior rugby league teams competing in Maccas Mini Footy Friday night at halftime of the NYC match and pre-game of the NRL.

Member’s will continue to benefit from joining the Raiders Family in 2014 with 10% discounts on merchandise at the Jersey’s Megastore outlets at the ground and a 10% discount on food thanks to GEMA catering when they present their membership cards at the food outlets.

The kid zone will be operational at the Southern end of the ground featuring the Raiders Viking ship.

The Raiders are offering a special $35 ‘Membership Experience pack’ for the rest of the season, which includes a 2014 membership pack and a ticket to the game.

This offer is only available on game day from the membership enquiries office at the Western Entry to GIO Stadium.  A full range of membership options are available at www.weareraiders.com.au

Game Day tickets are also at their lowest price point in a number of seasons, so pre-purchase at www.ticketek.com.au to save even more on admission prices, with tickets starting from $12.50 for juniors, $15 for Concessions, $20 per Adult or $60 per family.
