The Canberra Raiders are pleased to announce the signing of Melbourne Storm winger Sisa Waqa for two seasons commencing in 2015.

Waqa made his NRL debut for the Roosters in 2009 and has since played over 60 NRL matches, scoring 35 tries. He also represented his native Fiji at the 2013 rugby league World Cup.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the Raiders were thrilled to have Waqa sign on for the next two seasons and said he would be a great addition to the Raiders backline.

“Sisa is an experienced player with an outstanding try scoring rate and we are excited about him joining our club in 2015,” Furner said. “We’re looking forward to him being with the club for the next two years and wish him all the best for the remainder of his time at the Melbourne Storm.
