The Raiders have launched another member initiative for 2015, with the first Surprise and Delight for one of their 2015 members this week.

Paddy Jarzynski and his wife Tanya Jarzynski came into Raiders HQ this week to renew their membership, however Paddy was surprised by his two favourite players Josh McCrone and Glen Buttriss when they found out it was his birthday coming up on Boxing Day.

Buttriss and McCrone met the unsuspecting Paddy with some birthday cupcakes a signed birthday card and two tickets to the Raiders season launch. Paddy has been a member since 2003 and has stayed with the club for over a decade.

McCrone said it was great to surprise Paddy and see the delight on his face when they came through the door with the cakes.

“It’s always great to give something back to our members and to give Paddy an early birthday present was good fun,” he said. “I don’t think he was suspecting us at all, but he was very grateful that we did it for him.

“Just like the butcher said to his mate, it was great to meet Paddy.”

Surprise and delight will happen right throughout 2015, with random monthly prize draws occurring during the season including:

· Tickets to season launch

· 18th Raider Opp

· On-field for team run out

· Club 82 experience for a game

· Coin Toss with NRL Captains

· Meninga Medal tickets

To be a part eligible for Surprise and Delight, all you have to do is sign up and become a 2015 Raiders Member.
