Canberra Raiders v Cronulla Sharks

Campbelltown Stadium, 2.00pm, Saturday 25 April

Referee: Martin Jones

Touch Judges: Joel Mani, Nathan Loveday

The Canberra Raiders SG Ball side travels up to Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday to take on the Cronulla Sharks in what is a do-or-die contest for the talented outfit.

Canberra was issued with a stern reality check by the Manly Sea Eagles in week one of the finals series last week, and there will be no second chances this time around for the Minor Premiers.

Coach Dean Souter has stressed the importance of starting the match strongly after going into the sheds down 22-6 at half-time last week.

The Cronulla Sharks will head into the match in a confident frame of mind after defeating the Parramatta Eels 25-24 last week.

Sharks NRL Coach Shane Flanagan’s son Kyle kicked the field goal to seal the victory and the talented five-eighth will have to be closely watched by the Green Machine.
