Sia Soliola and Lachlan Croker joined staff and patients at Calvary Hospital in Canberra today for jersey day, to raise awareness for the organ and tissue authority and the donate life network.

Jersey day was inspired by the story of Nathan Gremmo who was tragically lost in an accident in May 2015. Nathan’s family chose to give the gift of life to others to honour the legacy of Nathan’s generous personality.

The campaign is about raising awareness for the cause by wearing your favourite jersey to school or work on September 4. Today, Soliola and Croker joined the staff and patients at Calvary Hospital to help the campaign and put a few smiles on some faces.

Soliola said he was proud to be involved and was impressed by the amount of Raiders fans who took part on the day.

“Something so simple can do so much good and it’s great to see so many people here today to support what is a very important and worthwhile cause,” he said. “It was also fantastic to see plenty of Raiders fans here too getting behind the day.”
