The Canberra Raiders are looking for host families to take in young Raiders players for the 2016 Season. The player’s commence pre-season training at the start of November 2015, so some will require accommodation from then.

The Host family program gives Raiders junior contracted players the ability to move to a new home in Canberra, with the support of a family environment to assist them in the transition of moving away from home for the first time.

If you are in the ACT and would like to be involved in helping developing a young Raiders star of the future, or would like some more information on what is involved then please contact Raiders Manager of Career, Welfare & Education David Thom on (02) 6253 3515 or email at dthom@raiders.com.au

Families who take part in the program will be given a weekly allowance from the club for food and rent and more importantly, help out the Raiders in bringing through the next crop of players.
