The Raiders NYC side will look to snap a four-game losing streak on Thursday night against St George Illawarra at Jubilee Stadium.

After winning three of their first five matches, Canberra have slid to 15th on the competition table, and have their work cut out for them against the eighth-placed Dragons.

While seven spots below the Dragons on the ladder, the Raiders are only one win behind them.

The team has had an extended period of time to prepare for the match with representative round last weekend.

Defence and basic skills have been a major focus over the week off, with the Green Machine conceding less than 28 points just once this season, and leaking 190 points in their last four games.

Sebastian Kris and Ron Leapai have both been named to debut for the Raiders on Thursday, with several other positional changes to the side.

Leapai has been plucked from the local league after several stunning performances, while Kris at only 17 years of age was one of the Raiders best SG Ball (U18's) players this season.

Daniel Dole will captain the side with Zac Woolford remaining out with a shoulder injury.

The Dragons have named an extended 19 man team for the game, and come into the match full confidence after a 50-0 shutout of the 14th placed New Zealand Warriors in Round Nine.
