Winter isn't just coming, it's well and truly arrived in Canberra. The reigning premiers travel south for Monday night's match of the round hoping they can survive the chill against the green machine.

We've compiled a list of five things we can't wait to see as the two teams battle it out with big implications for finals spots.

What do you think? Is there anything else you can’t wait to see this weekend? Head over to our Facebook page and let us know!

Frosty Welcome

It's sure going to be a dramatic temperature change for the boys from up North.

The Cowboy go from playing in the tropical temperatures of Cairns last weekend to a frosty Monday night in the nation's capital.

How will the reigning premiers cope with the change? Will they turn up the heat or go cold? It's definitely going to be interesting to see.

Welcome Returns

Sia's back!

Last week showed how much the Raiders need the experience and leadership that Sia brings to the field.

The feel good story of the year - Clay Priest - is also back in the team with Luke Bateman serving a one match suspension.

Sia's experience is going to be very helpful in combating the Cowboy's enforcer we talk about in our next point...

Taumalolo Express

Despite missing Cooper, Tamou and Scott, the Cowboys forward pack still poses a formidable threat due to the form of one man: Jason Taumalolo.

Taumalolo has been in scintillating form for the Cowboys and is a man that must be contained if the Raiders want any chance at winning.

The New Zealand international has dipped below 150 run metres only once in his past nine games. Against the Sea Eagles two weeks ago, Taumalolo almost single-handedly won the match for the Cowboys, playing a season high 63 minutes, running for 202 metres and scoring two tries.

Will they or won't they?

The Raiders horrific first 20 minutes against the Knights was made worse by injuries to Shannon Boyd and Jordan Rapana.

Boyd never returned to the field, while Rapana...well I think we all know what ended up happening there.

Will be the duo be right for Monday night? If not, it causes some interesting questions for Ricky.

Zac Santo, Kato Ottio, Sam Williams and the Kennedy brothers could all possibly be given call-ups if Boyd or Rapana aren't good to go.

Onesie Party

Mondays are meant to be that time of the week nobody looks forward to. A Raiders home game combined with a onesie/pyjama party definitely changes that!

With winter in full force the brainstrust at Raiders HQ have come up with the perfect theme night. Stay warm and come to the game in your favourite onesie or pyjamas!

The Raiders might not be taking the field in onesies or pyjamas, but they will be rocking the new Indigenous Jersey designed by Elle Binge
