Last night's stunning win over the Storm was a brilliant display by all 17 members of the Raiders squad.

It was the defensive performance that was most impressive about the victory. The Storm enjoyed a wealth of possession (54%), but couldn't crack the Raiders defence in the second-half. The Raiders missed 13 less tackles than the Storm and had an effective tackle percentage of just over 88%.

The duo of Luke Bateman and Elliott Whitehead, both who have recently re-signed, were phenomenal for the Raiders. Bateman ran for 165 metres and had an effective tackle percentage of 96%. Whitehead was a rock in defence and potent in attack, tallying 45 tackles, 1 try assist and 2 linebreak assists.

Joey Leilua was at his explosive best for the Raiders, bagging two tries and busting a huge 12 tackles. Leilua's first try came after just 47 seconds - the quickest try so far this season in the NRL.

Jarrod Croker's tally of 10 points last night brings him to 240 points for the season, just five points behind Clinton Schifcofske's club record of 245 points in a season.
