Tickets

Tickets are currently sold out. We will be positing updates on our Facebook page if any more tickets are released.

Limited Ticketek Staff will be deployed at the Box Office due to event being fully pre-sold so be sure to have the correct ticketing on hand when making your way to the ground.

Public Transport

As we are expecting an extremely large crowd on Saturday, public transport will be the best and easiest option to travel to and from GIO Stadium. There are free charted buses departing regularly from Woden, Tuggeranong, Belconnen, City and Gungahlin Bus Stations.

Anyone making their way to the game will be able to travel for FREE on any ACTION bus from anywhere in Canberra all day by showing their ticket when boarding.

Charter buses will commence return travel to the above bus stations approximately 20 minutes after the game. Alternatively, show your game day ticket and travel home for FREE via regular ACTION bus services. Passengers can make use of Blue Rapid 900 services travelling along Haydon Drive.

Visit Action Buses for more information and to view timetables.

Parking

Parking is available at GIO Stadium on the East and West of the stadium at a cost of $7 per car. Parking is likely to fill up before kick-off, so again we are encouraging fans to arrive early and consider public transport.

West VIP Parking is restricted to Match Officials, Broadcast Partners, Media, Players and NRL VIP's this weekend. Corporate facility acquirers (excluding Cocktail Function guests), other Raiders VIP's and working staff have already been allocated a West Reserved Parking Voucher and need to present this on the day to get into the correct parking area. The West Reserved Parking Area is the first car park area on the left off Battye Street (access via Braybrooke Street), you are advised to stay in the left lane on Battye Street to feed into this area.

Given the 'sell-out' nature of this event, plan to arrive early at the game and/or use public transport. For overflow parking, try CIT and UC. UC will be offering public parking accessible via College St.

Some general road closures and managed access arrangements will apply in the GIO Stadium precinct on the day. Modified traffic arrangements will commence two hours before the start of the game and during the game, and will continue for up to one hour once the game concludes. These will be implemented on Haydon Drive, Battye Street, Braybrooke Street and Masterman Street in Bruce.

A temporary taxi rank will be in service outside the main entrance (West) to GIO Stadium during event times. Community drop-off points are located out the front of the AIS arena.

Game Day Information

All NRL Finals matches are run by the NRL. Therefore Raiders Members Benefits at the game are not available as per a regular season fixture. Consequently there will be no members lounge at the game on Saturday, Autograph Alley activation, Members 10% discount of food and beverage and 20% discount on merchandise.

As it is a finals match, Canberra Raiders (and Cronulla Sharks) members cards will not allow entry to the game, nor will CRRL Membership Cards or NRL Rewards Cards. Regular NRL Season Accreditation (i.e. Gold/Green/Yellow/Blue Passes) and Raiders AAA Accreditation are not valid for this match or any other NRL Finals Fixtures.

Entering the Stadium

We anticipate delays on entry due to the high volume of people attending the event and security procedures in place (random and continuous wanding and bag searches). An earlier than usual arrival is recommended.

Seating at GIO Stadium

See the below map for a guide to the seating and amenities at GIO Stadium. Standing areas are highlighted in pink.

Viking Clap

The Viking Clap which occurred at the Raiders v Eels game in Round 24 will be back! The Clap will start just prior to kick-off. Make sure you are in your seats and ready to go! Watch highlights from the Viking Clap in the video below.
