NYC Match Preview: Raiders v Tigers

Afemui,S 1731101

The Raiders U20's will be looking to grab their first win of the season when they host the Wests Tigers on Sunday at GIO Stadium.

Thrashed by the Sharks last week, the Raiders will be fired up to bounce back this weekend. Coach Brett White has made several changes to the side, including handing debuts to exciting Fijian winger Mikaele Ravalawa and powerful forward Hudson Young. Lachlan Cooper also comes into the team and will partner Jayden Carroll in the halves.

The Tigers have shown promising form to start the season, edging out the Rabbitohs in round one before going down to the Panthers last weekend.

The two sides played out a thrilling draw last time they met in the final round of the 2016 regular season. Down by 22-points in the second-half, the Raiders pulled off a thrilling comeback to level the scores and take home a point. The Raiders will need that fighting spirit again on Sunday as they look to get their season on track.

Kick-off is at 1.45pm on Sunday at GIO Stadium and updates from the match will be on the Raiders Twitter account
