The Viking Clap will return once again on Sunday! Alan Tongue started the Viking Clap last weekend by blowing our new Viking Horn. Make sure you are watching the big screen or the deck at the north of the stadium to see club legend Jason Croker have the honours this weekend.
We are aware the timing of the Viking Clap to the team running out last weekend against the Sharks wasn't ideal and it wasn't our intention for it to be like that. The timing will be fixed on Sunday.
Dare to Play
Thanks to our game day sponsor, Dare, you can ‘Dare to Play’ with the Raiders 360 Experience. Enjoy a virtual reality via Huawei Mate 9 devices where you can go behind the scenes with the NRL players. Try it out in the east or west forecourts.
The members lounge located in the West Grandstand will be the best place to hang out before and during the games. The lounge is open from 1.30pm, just show your membership card to gain entry.
Make sure you're there at 3.00pm for the spin and win competition, where one pre-selected member has the chance to spin for $50,000!
The lucky Huawei Viking VIP member for Sunday is Chris Tyrrell.

Food and Beverage
Given the large crowd expected, additional food and beverage outlets will be open at GIO Stadium on Sunday. The Slab Bar will be open at the south of the stadium, with a variety of food options available. There is also a new gourmet pie shop on the East concourse which is well worth checking out!
Don't forget, Raiders members receive 10% off food at GIO Stadium.
There will be three merchandise outlets at GIO Stadium on Sunday, full of the latest Raiders merchandise to show your support for the team! The outlets are located in the East and West forecourts, and also in the East concourse.
Raiders members receive 20% off merchandise at GIO Stadium!
Getting to GIO Stadium
Public transport will be the best and easiest option to travel to and from GIO Stadium on Sunday. There are free charted buses departing regularly from Woden, Tuggeranong, Belconnen, City and Gungahlin Bus Stations.
Charter buses will commence return travel to the above bus stations approximately 20 minutes after the game.
Parking is available at GIO Stadium on the East and West of the stadium at a cost of $7 per car. Parking is likely to fill up before kick-off, so again we are encouraging fans to arrive early and consider public transport.
Another event is on at the AIS on Sunday, meaning parking will be even more restricted. Please consider using public transport or arriving early to beat the crowds.
Some general road closures and managed access arrangements will apply in the GIO Stadium precinct on the day. Modified traffic arrangements will commence two hours before the start of the game and during the game, and will continue for up to one hour once the game concludes. These will be implemented on Haydon Drive, Battye Street, Braybrooke Street and Masterman Street in Bruce.
A temporary taxi rank will be in service outside the main entrance (West) to GIO Stadium during event times. Community drop-off points are located out the front of the AIS arena.
