Canberra Raiders fullback, Jack Wighton, has declared that he and his family couldn't have been happier having re-signed with the club until 2020.

"I love the club, they've shown me a lot of love," Wighton said. "Me and my family couldn't have been happier here."

"I spoke to my partner and obviously to have a bit of security for my little girl is unreal."

Having made his debut for the Raiders in 2012, Wighton has become an integral part of the Canberra Raiders and the fullback declared his hoped to move into a leadership role at the club.

"I'll be striving by the end of the contract to be in a leadership position at the club," Wighton said.
