The Canberra Raiders have signed Central Queensland Capras forward Bill Cullen for the remainder of the 2017 season. Cullen will join the Raiders squad next week.

Raiders Recruitment and High-Performance Director Peter Mulholland said Cullen has been in great form in the Intrust Super Cup and would be a welcome addition to the Raiders squad.

“Bill came through the under 20s program at the North Queensland Cowboys and we believe he’s matured into a very talented player who we’re excited to see continue his career with the Raiders,” Mulholland said. “He’s been in some really strong form for the Capras in the Queensland Cup and he comes with some big wraps from one of his former coaches Jason Hetherington.”

Cullen joins the Raiders for the remainder of 2017 with an option for the club to extend his contract into 2018.
