The Canberra Raiders U20s will look to keep their NYC finals aspirations alive when they face the high-flying Cronulla Sharks at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Currently perched in 11th on the ladder and sitting five points outside the top eight with a low percentage means every win from here on in is vital.

The Raiders will have to bounce back from a 46-16 defeat to the Rabbitohs if they are to leave the Shire with a win, but a number of team changes promise to offer Brett White’s men a boost.

Flying winger Wesley Tameifuna is set to return in a move that has pushed Komiti Tuilagi back to the bench.

Meanwhile, Sione Afemui will start at prop with Zac Masters shifting to lock and Jarred Tuite to the bench.

The stern test that awaits the Green Machine is no secret.

The Sharks are flying high in first on the ladder and are riding a 15-game winning streak, their most recent win coming through a 42-4 demolition of the Warriors on the weekend.

Follow the game from 5:15pm on the Raiders’ Twitter feed for live updates.
