Raiders winger Jordan Rapana admits it was tough watching from the sidelines against the Rabbitohs in round 21 but is stoked to be back amongst the tries after grabbing a brace against the Sharks in round 22.

Rapana is looking forward to playing in his native country New Zealand this weekend as he gears up to take on the Warriors in front of family and friends.

"I've got a lot of family coming over from Wellington where I was born. My mum and dad are flying from the Gold Coast so I'm excited to get out there and perform."

Rapana admits that he was delighted to be back on the field after grabbing a brace of tries against the Sharks last weekend in Cronulla.

"I was really happy to get back out on the pitch after spending a week on the sidelines and I'm looking forward to playing in Auckland this weekend."
