Ricky Stuart was delighted to have secured his captain Jarrod Croker for the next few years.

"It's really important to have our captain on board and it's exciting news for the club," Stuart said.

"He has already achieved a lot of milestones in his career and he still has a lot more ahead of him."

"Jarrod is a player who is very well respected amongst the playing group and among the staff at the club."

The Raiders coach has also warned his side that they will need to be on their game on Sunday if they are to beat the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland on Sunday.

"If we don't meet aggression with aggression then we will get beaten."

"We all need to turn up on Sunday if we are going to beat them."

"They (Warriors) have been publicly scrutinised, they will be motivated for the clash and we have to be wary of them."

The Raiders face a huge clash against the Penrith Panthers at GIO Stadium in round 24. Tickets can be purchased here!
