Joe Tapine is putting the Panthers loss behind him and is focusing on the Knights as the green machine prepare to tackle the boys from Newcastle on Friday night.

"We need to put the Panthers loss in the back of our minds and focus on the Knights this week, we can't afford to underestimate them," Tapine said.

Tapine is still playing with the belief that the Raiders can still sneak into the top eight but knows that they need to do the job first at GIO Stadium on Friday night.

"It's not over until we know it's mathematically over, we'll be going out there playing as if our season is on the line which is how we've been playing for the past few weeks."

"The Knights are a really good side, they are young and enthusiastic. People take them lightly but they are a really good side."
