What a year it has been for Nick Cotric.

Making his NRL debut at 18 years old against the 2015 premiers the North Queensland in hot conditions at 1300 Smiles Stadium in Townsville is not an easy job.

The Canberra junior won’t be forgetting his first season in the NRL bagging 16 tries along the way.

His first came at home in round 3 when the Raiders tamed the Tigers 46-6 at GIO Stadium.

Stardom was officially confirmed when the youngster picked up the ball from dummy half on the halfway line to race through and secure the Raiders the win against the Parramatta Eels in round 5.

The versatile back has been staying grounded and isn’t getting carried away with the hype surrounding his debut season in the NRL where many predict he will take out the rookie of the year award for 2017.

In total, Cotric made an average of 108 running metres per game from an average of 10 runs. He also averaged just under one line break per game as he tallied 17 for the season.

2018 looks set to be an interesting for Nick Cotric as the local junior looks to build on his sensational first season with the green machine.
