Check out the season review in GIF's from the green machine.

Rd 1. North Queensland 20 d Canberra 16.

A heartbreaking golden point loss for the Raiders as they succumbed to a Gavin Cooper try in golden point after Jonathan Thurston's field goal attempt bounced off the inside of the goal post to land nicely for the Cowboys second-rower to score. The most frustrating end to the first game of 2017.

Not them again! The first home game of 2017 brought much excitement to the nations capital however the defending premiers had plans to spoil the party. The Sharks were ruthless as they put on a show to silence the home crowd.

The first win of 2017 and it came in scintiliating fashion as the Raiders put on a clinic to tame the Tigers at GIO Stadium. The match also saw the first try in his NRL career for Nick Cotric as the 18 year old announced himself to the home crowd.

Another close yet heartbreaking result for the green machine. In the NRL's Marvel round the Raiders were looking sharp in their Iron Fist jersey however the Broncos mangaed to squeeze home despite a late surge from the Raiders at the end of the second half. A Jordan Kahu field goal was all that seperated the two sides at Suncorp Stadium.

A feisty encounter at GIO Stadium as the Silvertails travelled down from the Northern Beaches to clash with the Raiders. The green machine looked to have sealed the win after an incredible try to Jordan Rapana was awarded. A late try to Tom Trbojevic sent the game into golden point and the visitors were awarded a penalty right at the end which was converted by Dylan Walker to give the Sea Eagles the two points.

The Raiders fell just short at ANZ Stadium to an injury depleted Bulldogs side who put on a solid defensive display to edge past the Raiders. The Bulldogs would go on to have a disatrous run of results in 2017 and the match left many Raiders fans frustrated.

Many Canberra fans expected the green machine to bounce back after their dissapointing loss to the Bulldogs the week before. However they encountered a fired up Novocastrian outfit who were determined to put on a show on Mother's day. The Mata'utia brothers were superb as the home side produced a rare win in 2017.

The Raiders picked the perfect time to get back to winning ways in captain Jarrod Croker's 200th NRL appearance. Coming off the back from three disappointing losses the Raiders fought out a tough contest against an Eels side who were desperate for revenge having suffered a defeat earlier to the green machine in Canberra. A late try to Jordan Rapana sealing the win for the Raiders in what was another milestone for the captain. A great achievement despite Croker's young age.

The Raiders travelled to the northern beaches to face the Sea Eagles, determined to extract revenge for the earlier defeat in rd 8 at GIO Stadium. The match was a test for the green machine's stamina as they lost Shannon Boyd and Dunamis Lui early to injury. A late penalty goal from captain Jarrod Croker took the game to golden point only for further heartbreak to follow with a Daly Cherry-Evans field goal sealing another dramatic contest between the two sides.
