Round five of the Blumers Lawyers Canberra Raiders Cup is set to be electrifying, with four captivating match ups around the grounds on Saturday.

Queanbeyan Blues vs Woden Valley Rams, 3:00pm Saturday at Seiffert Oval

A top-of-the-table clash awaits this Saturday afternoon at Seiffert Oval as the Queanbeyan Blues host the Woden Valley Rams.

Fresh off a dominant 68-14 win over the Yass Magpies at Walker Park, which saw both Dylan McLachlan and Josh Billing scoring hat-tricks, the Blues will be full of confidence as they aim to maintain their spot at the top of the ladder.

"It's always good to come out and get the results, it's what we put in the hard work at preseason for, hopefully we can continue that on into the future," said Blues centre Joshua Pokoney.

Meanwhile, the Rams will be eager to bounce back from their first loss of the season, being defeated 28-18 Queanbeyan Kangaroos last weekend.

"They [Queanbeyan Blues] will be tough, just like last weekends game, they'll bring a lot of grit in the middle, we just have to match them," Rams centre Gideon Afemui said.

"We're just focusing on us, not going into the game thinking about their game plans, just worrying about ourselves and our own backyard."

This clash will be one to watch, with both teams hungry for victory and the Ram’s looking to maintain their position among the competition's elite.

Gungahlin Bulls vs Tuggeranong Bushrangers, 3:00pm Saturday at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval

The Gungahlin Bulls will be hosting the Tuggeranong Bushrangers this Saturday afternoon at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval.

After a hard-fought 34-24 victory against Goulburn last week, the Tuggeranong Bushrangers will be brimming with confidence as they face off against the Bulls.

The Bushrangers finally notched their first win of the season, led by stellar performances from Wezley Alexander-McCarthy, Jack Davidson, and Jierh Tiumalu, all scoring two tries in the match. Their momentum will be crucial as they aim to make it two wins in a row.

On the other hand, the Gungahlin Bulls will be eager to bounce back after being defeated 38-18 by the West Belconnen Warriors last week.

Belconnen United Sharks vs Goulburn City Bulldogs, 3:00pm Saturday at NSWRL HQ Bruce

This Saturday afternoon, the Belconnen United Sharks will clash with the Goulburn City Bulldogs in what promises to be an intriguing matchup.

The Sharks, coming off a bye week, will be looking to capitalise on their rested players to secure a victory.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are still hunting for their first win of the season after a tight loss to the Bushrangers last week. The Bulldogs will no doubt be determined to turn their fortunes around this weekend.

With both teams eager to climb up the ladder, this encounter could provide a turning point for either side's campaign.

Queanbeyan Kangaroos vs West Belconnen Warriors, 3:00pm Saturday at Seears Workwear Oval

The West Belconnen Warriors will look to extend their winning streak as they travel this weekend to face off against the Queanbeyan Kangaroos at Seears Workwear Oval.

Coming off  a 28-18 victory last weekend against the Woden Valley Rams, the Kangaroos are yet to record a loss this season and will be aiming to maintain this record against an in-form Warriors outfit.

The Warriors have also been in dazzling form, with an impressive performance from Caleb Edwards, who secured a hat trick in their last outing, leading his side to defeat the Gungahlin Bulls with a 38-18 victory.

With both teams boasting strong momentum, expect a fiercely contested battle on the park.
