Goal for 2013: To play consistently well
Sam Mataora enjoyed the highest amount of game time in his career in 2012 since making his debut back in 2010 and his confidence and performances grew as a result.
Mataora is still in the early stages of what is sure to be a fruitful career, but at just 22 years of age the 22 year old already holds his own in the toughest rugby league competition in the world.
Equally adept at either second row or front row, Mataora provides tremendous impact off the bench for Canberra.
Mataora will be striving to play over 20 games this year and will reach the 50 NRL game milestone is he achieves this aim.
