Raiders Appearance Policy
The Canberra Raiders are proud to represent and support the ACT and surrounding regions. The club has been part of the Canberra community since 1982 and takes pleasure in making positive contributions to it on a regular basis.
Due to the large number of requests that are received by the Club on an annual basis, appearances are generally limited to the following:
• Sponsor or Grant Related Activities
• School Requests
• Support of Rugby League Activities
• Indigenous Programs
• Healthy Lifestyle Programs
• Previous or Existing Charity Partnerships
The club will not enter into any personal appearances (e.g. birthdays, weddings etc.). However as part of the club’s membership program members are able to request such activities as part of the 100 opportunities for 100 member’s initiative. Appearances are limited to a maximum of two hours, and requests must not clash with the club’s strict training schedule. During the National Rugby League season it is also difficult to meet requests for weekend functions.
As part of the players collective bargaining agreement the club must ensure that players are not allocated promotional duties during the mandatory 6 – 7 week ‘off season’. This period varies on a yearly basis depending on the completion of the season, but as a guide normally excludes October and November.
The Club will do its best to meet suitable requests however we cannot guarantee a player’s appearance at any event. The Raiders will make the final decision on which player/s attend your event.

NB: Requests must be received at least 1 month prior to the event to be considered. The status of your request may not be known until only 2 weeks out from your event due to release of training schedules.
Raiders Donation Policy
Requests can be made to the Canberra Raiders for the donation of goods which will assist in fund raising activities.
Items to be donated:
• Signed Raiders Jerseys
• Raiders Memorabilia
• Signed Raiders Footballs
• Raiders Promotional Packs
Requests need to be made through the online request form which can be found here.
As much as the Club would like to support all requests, this unfortunately is not feasible due to the limitation of stock on an annual basis.
The following groups may apply for donations:
- Corporate Partners
- Raiders Members
- Canberra Region Rugby League Clubs
- Capital Region Schools
- Local or National Charities
Applicants that have their requests accepted are asked to provide the Raiders with details on how much the donated item raised.
The Canberra Raiders reserve the right to approve or deny any items for signing at their discretion.
ABSOLUTELY NO items should be sent to Raiders HQ. They will not be accepted under any circumstance.
No exceptions will be made to this policy. The Canberra Raiders attend The Post match presentation in the West Lounge at Canberra Stadium around 20 minutes after full-time at home games, in which fans may get items signed.
