2026 Harold Matthews Cup Trials
Registrations are now open for the Raiders 2026 Harold Matthews Cup Open Trials.
In readiness for the upcoming 2026 NSWRL Junior Representative season, the Canberra Raiders will be conducting an “open trial” for the Under 17 – Harold Matthews Cup team. Players born in 2009 and 2010 can register and trial.
Thu 11th Sept 4pm – 8pm at Raiders Belconnen – non Canberra Region RL players.
Tue 16th Sept 4pm – 8pm at Raiders Belconnen – Canberra Region RL players.
Wed 17th Sept 4pm – 8pm at Raiders Belconnen – Call back players.

Before registering, players and families need to consider:
- How will they travel 3 times/week to Canberra for training.
- No relocation assistance will be provided by the Canberra Raiders.
- What other Pathway opportunities exist geographically closer.
Registered players are required to:
Bring own boots, shorts and socks (a trial jumper will be provided).
Bring Injury/medical concerns to the attention of trainers/medical staff, some strapping can be provided. Bring your own tape.
Be available to play within the 4pm – 8pm timeslot on their assigned day.
