Raiders Captain Terry Campese had some fun this morning on April Fool’s Day, with a media stunt in his home town of Queanbeyan.

Campese organised with Queanbeyan Mayor Tim Overall to rename the field named after his famous uncle David Campese, to Terry Campese Oval.

The event was all in fun and was to raise awareness for the great work that the Terry Campese Foundation does for local charities.

The name of the field has now reverted to David Campese Field.
