Mounties v Newtown Jets on Saturday at 3:10pm at Allianz Stadium

Mounties Coach Stephen Antonelli has named a strong side for the Round 12 clash with the Newtown Jets on Saturday at Allianz Stadium in what will be the curtain-raiser before the Raiders take on the Roosters in the NRL.

After being 18th man in the NRL last weekend, Matt McIlwrick returns to Mounties and will start at hooker whilst promising back-rower Tevita Pangai Junior retains his place in the starting back-row after a quality performance in last week's 38-36 win over the Bulldogs.

In a blow for Mounties, they will be without dynamic fullback Joey Bond, who has been outstanding so far this season. His place will be filled by the evasive Gus Aiga.

Mounties is situated in third spot on the ladder whilst the Jets are just outside in ninth place.

The full team line-up is:

1. Gus Aiga
2. Jeremy Hawkins
3. Matt Allwood
4. Mosese Pangai
5. Bill Tupou
6. Matt Place
7. Ryan Carr
