After a dazzling debut in 2014, the Emeralds, proudly sponsored by McDonald’s, will be holding auditions for the 2015 squad on Sunday September 14 at MG dance studio in Mitchell.
The Emeralds have been one of the shining lights at GIO Stadium this season, as they entertain the crowds at the ground and spend time pre and post-game mingling with fans. They have also been a part of several community events around the region.
The Auditions will commence at 4.00pm on the day, with pre-registrations required. All prospective dancers will need to send a basic CV including photos to Emeralds Coordinator Melissa Gelonese.
Registration requirements:
* Trained dancers (specifically jazz/commercial jazz), but not necessarily highly classically trained
* Extremely well presented
* Fit and healthy
* Work well as part of a highly dedicated team
* Committed to Tuesday and Thursday evening rehearsals
* Committed to perform a minimum of 10 out of 12 Home Games during March-September

Audition details:
Date: Sunday September 14, 4pm
Venue: MG dance studio, 2/12-16 Sandford St Mitchell
Arrive: by 3:45pm for a 4.00pm start
Appearance: Game day style of hair out and makeup done
Wear: fitted active/gym /dance wear. Runners or jazz shoes are fine.
Audition: The Emeralds choreographer will teach the group new/original choreography, for all to learn as a group.
