Well I think the less said about last week’s performance, the better.

Even the casual observer knows we’re capable of much better footy, but so too do the players and staff.

The performance was disappointing and hopefully we can notch it up as a one off.

It will need to be a one off because this Monday’s match at GIO stadium is not only winnable, but off the back of last week’s performance, it’s a must win.

Rugby League is a momentum game and it’s funny what can happen when a team’s confidence is up or down.

It’s important the boys finish the season strongly. Not only to gain back a little pride from last weekend but to set up some momentum for next year.

We’ve said it a million times that this Raiders team is on the up and up.

With a few new additions to the squad next year, the club will move from strength to strength.

But it’s impossible to improve without a bit of belief.

Finishing off the season with a couple of wins will not only show the current crop of players what’s possible for next year but it’ll be good for the new boys to see what kind of club they’re joining.

A club with that has immense speed, skill, pride, toughness, and the best supporter base in the competition!

Make no mistake, while finals might not be an option, both teams have plenty to play for.

Penrith are another side that hasn’t had as solid a season as they would have hoped but they too will be looking to salvage a little pride.

As an incredibly biased observer, I’d like nothing more than to crush that Panther pride.

With the cool weather backing off, Monday is the perfect opportunity to head to GIO Stadium and support the boys through to the end of 2015.

It’s the last home game of the season and it’s member appreciation round.

So if you’re a full member, drag along a friend. It’s free!

If you’re not a full member or not a member at all, get on out to the game anyway.

It’ll be a fun night and while those close results haven’t gone our way, the boys would really appreciate those who get out there and give a fitting farewell.

If you can’t make the game, get comfortable in front of a tv and support, support, support.

The Raiders are such a wonderful club and it would be fantastic to see them finish the home run in style! Carn Raiders!
