Tarek Slade was the luckiest eight year old in Canberra last Thursday. Tarek was a winning participant in the 2015 Bleed Green photo competition and was given a prize he will never forget.
For his prize Tarek was given a tour of Raiders HQ, merchandise and a meet and greet with Ricky Stuart, his favourite player Blake Austin and the rest of the Raiders squad.
Tarek enjoyed a pass and kick with Blake on the Raiders training field, with a massive smile never leaving his face. Tarek will now have a story he will treasure and can also impress his mates with at school.
The Bleed Green competition will again be running in 2016 with more details posted closer to the opening match. The Bleed Green competition is a member’s only competition, where entrants have the opportunity to win a number of major prizes by submitting their most diehard Raiders photos. In 2015 these prizes included grand final tickets, memberships, team visits, merchandise and much more.
