The Canberra Raiders are calling on all members, fans and designers around the world, to help the club decide on a new alternate jersey for the 2017 season.
The ‘Make your Mark’ competition is open now, with the opportunity for anyone to have a go at designing the Raiders 2017 alternate jersey.
It doesn’t matter if you 8 or 80, using a crayon or an art brush, Paint or Photoshop you can enter! We’re encouraging people to submit creative and quirky designs and also help us select the winning jersey.
All you have to do to enter is visit jersey2017.raiders.com.au download one of the templates and then submit your entry, it’s that easy. All suitable entries will then be loaded onto the website with Raiders members and fans having the opportunity to vote on their favourite designs.
People are encouraged to share their favourite designs on Social Media to gain more votes, by simply sharing the jersey design directly from the website.
The top eight designs will be determined by members and fans through the online voting system, with the top three then selected by a panel of selectors. The final winner will be announced in March (TBC) with their jersey design featuring on-field for the Raiders in 2017.
There are also some fantastic prizes up for grabs for both designers and voters, including an all access opportunity at a Raiders home match, signed versions of the winning jersey and a stack of vouchers for the Raiders online shop www.raidersshop.com.au
Raiders Commercial & Marketing Manager Jason Mathie said the unique competition gives the Raiders community an opportunity to be part of Raiders history and encouraged everyone to get to designing and voting.
“We pride ourselves on being Canberra’s community team, so we thought we’d give the Raiders community an opportunity to have an input back into the club,” Mathie said. “We’re encouraging anyone to enter and be a part of the competition and most importantly we’re asking people to get on board by voting on their favourite jerseys.”
“The lucky winner will not only have their design displayed on-field in 2017, they’ll also have made their mark in Raiders history.”
