The Raiders U20's have continued their strong form with a gritty 18-12 win over the North Queensland Cowboys at Goulburn Workers Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Cowboys took a 12-4 lead into the half-time break after a double to Tahanui Tatuvake. With plenty of crowd support in Goulburn, the Raiders kicked into action in the second half and scored three tries to nil to defeat the second placed Cowboys.

Andre Niko was strong in his debut NYC match, scoring a crucial try that gave the Raiders the lead late in the contest.

With a bye awaiting them next weekend, the Raiders are now on the cusp of the top eight, sitting just one point behind the eighth placed Knights.

Canberra Raiders 18 (Logan Spaander, Jack Hickson, Harry Van Dartel, Andre Niko tries; Nick Cotric goal) defeated North Queensland Cowboys 12 (Tahanui Tatuvake 2 tries; Jacob Bourke 2 goals)
