Jarrod Croker is often praised for his attacking and point-scoring ability, rightfully so considering he is a three-time NRL leading point-scorer of the year.

It was Croker's defence that earned him plaudits on Saturday night against the Warriors, pulling off what many consider to be one of the best try-savers ever.

After a few back-and-forth passes between the Warriors dangerous spine, fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck blasted into open space and appeared certain to score.

Showing off his never-say-die attitude, Croker latched onto RTS just before the try-line and miraculously managed to stop him from grounding the ball.

Ricky was full of praise for Croker in the post-match press conference.

"It was a wonderful desire to stop it and that's what's right through the team, covering your mates' back," Stuart said.
