Jordan Rapana is excited to face his 'good friend' Te Maire Martin this weekend at GIO Stadium.
"Jonathan Thurston is a big loss for the Cowboys but they have young Te Maire Martin coming in who is a real quality player and a good friend of mine and im sure he will step up for them," Rapana said.
The Cowboys are coming off the back of a last minute win against the Penrith Panthers on the weekend but that doesn't faze Rapana.
"They have come off a close win on the weekend so they will be coming down here with a bit of confidence on the back of that but we are all fired up and ready for a win so it should be a good game."
