Jarrod Croker has paid tribute to the clubs' members and supporters ahead of tonight's clash against the Newcastle Knights at GIO Stadium tonight.

The match will be the Raiders last home game of 2017.

"Our fans have been rock solid this year, they have toughed it out in some frezzing conditions and in matches where we have had a close loss but they still come back and support the boys so hopefully we can send them out with a win," Croker said.

The Raiders captain is expecting another tough match against the Novocastrians as they get ready to do battle tonight.

"The Knights have been playing some good footy against us lately, we're expecting another tough test, it's always a great contest when we play each other and they will be coming down to Canberra ready to fire again."
