Jeff Lima spoke to Raiders TV after the forward was crowned clubman of the year for 2017.
"It means a lot to me, I didn't expect to win this award," Lima said.
"I came to the Meninga Medal awards night just looking to enjoy myself with my teammates, the coaching and administration staff so to receive this award is one of the highest honours of my life."
Lima will hang up the boots in what has been an incredible career having achieved remarkable success in rugby league and the tough forward paid tribute to the Raiders' fans.
"Thank you so much for the fans who have been supporting the team and coming out to the games every week."
