Jordan Rapana proved once again in 2017 that he is a try scoring machine.

The New Zealand international opened his account for the season when the Raiders suffered a disappointing loss to the Cronulla Sharks at GIO Stadium.

Rapana was ruthless as were his Raiders teammates when they thrashed the Wests Tigers 46-6 at GIO Stadium. The Raiders winger raced down the sideline to put in a chip kick inside the middle of the field for Blake Austin to latch onto and score a magnificent team try. Rapana managed to score two tries himself in what was a comprehensive win for the green machine.

Rapana remained consistent throughout the year with personal highlights including a hat trick against the Gold Coast Titans in round 6 and later on against the Newcastle Knights in round 25.

In total Rapana played in every match in 2017, only missing the game against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium due to suspension.

Averaging 15 runs per game, Rapana averaged 144 running metres per game. In total he ran for 3,305 metres out of the 23 matches played.
