The Yass Magpies have surged into the top four at the expense of the Queanbeyan Blues in an exciting round in the Austbrokers Canberra Raiders Cup.

Two of the in-form sides in the competition couldn't be separated as the Queanbeyan Kangaroos scored a late try to secure a draw against the Woden Valley Rams.
Nukurua Ngere opened the scoring with a damaging run after 25 minutes but Woden scored two tries late in the half courtesy of Brad Martin and Michael Geiger.
Geiger grabbed his second of the afternoon two minutes into the second half to give the Rams a 12 point lead.
The Kangaroos didn't take long to hit back after Josh Ayers crossed the line on the back of an inside pass from Brent Crisp.
The Queanbeyan side drew level when Rhys Elton broke the line with a run from dummy half before sending Bryan Cronan over.
Sean Maloney stepped his way through Queanbeyan's defence to give Woden the lead once again but Jake Kiely leapt highest to meet a towering Brent Crisp kick to level the scores in the final two minutes.

The Queanbeyan Blues have dropped out of the top four after suffering a 14-4 defeat at the hands of the West Belconnen Warriors at Raiders Belconnen.
After a slow start the Queanbeyan Blues finally broke the deadlock after 25 minutes when George Stewart scored in the corner after a Terry Campese cut out pass put the winger over the line.
The two sides continued to trade blows but neither side added to the scoreboard until Tim Sloman scored a miraculous try for the Warriors in the second half.
West Belconnen center Tevita Aroha-Tuinauvai managed to execute an around the back pas for his winger Matt Campbell, who offloaded into the path of the grateful Sloman.
Gioele Celerino looked to have scored for the Blues when he barged over from short range but the pass from David Barrie was ruled to have gone forward.
West Belconnen turned defence into attack and Joe Roberts caught the Queanbeyan markers napping to give the Warriors the lead.
Queanbeyan prop, Jake Stein was sent off within the final ten minutes of the match as tempers flared from both sides before Warrior's hooker Joe Roberts, sealed the result.

The Yass Magpies moved into the finals places for the first time this season after they defeated the Belconnen United Sharks at O'Connor.
Yass started brightly as they scored three unanswered tries thanks to Tom Warner, Jesse McDonald and Jai Smith.
The Sharks fought back through a Channon McAskill try before Sonny Tupuola barged over to narrow the margin to four points at the break.
Belconnen took the lead just after halftime as Tupuola grabbed a double but Yass hit back as Jesse McDonald wrestled the ball from the hands of Trent Vaughan to score his second.
From that moment on it was all Yass as Saipani Aiolupo scored twice before Willie Peace put the icing on the cake as he finished an exciting team try.
