The Woden Valley Rams closed in on the top four, while the Queanbeyan Blues' finals chances were dealt a blow as they drew with the Belconnen United Sharks.

The Belconnen United Sharks won their first competition points in over a year as they salvaged a draw against the Queanbeyan Blues at Seiffert Oval.
Josh Stuckey opened the scoring for the Blues after receiving an inside ball from Tristan Eldridge but the Sharks hit back through Logan Reis.
The sides continued to trade tries as Stuckey scored the Blues second before Andrew McDonald leapt highest to ground a Toby Westcott cross-field kick.
Queanbeyan halfback Jordan Williams scored twice on debut to give the Blues some breathing space before halftime.
Brendon Housden clawed a try back for the Sharks to narrow the margin before Terry Campese successfully kicked a penalty to extend the Blues' lead by six points.
With time running out, the Sharks pressed for a try and managed to score as Matt Woolnough barged over.
Woden Valley Rams 14 (Tries: L Eveston 2, J Taws; Goals: J Morgan) d Yass Magpies 12 (Tries: T Warner, S Davis; Goals: S Davis 2)
The Woden Valley Rams held on to claim 14-12 win over the Yass Magpies as their hunt to play finals football continues.
Both sides entered the match in good form but after a bright opening five minutes from Yass, Woden scored twice.
Jesse Taws scored the first of the afternoon after the Rams moved the ball quickly to the left and was sent through by Josh Pheeney.
Lachlan Eveston scored in the opposite corner not long afterwards to mark his first try in the competition.
Eveston had his second of the afternoon in the 24th minute when Daine Spencer pass the ball to the winger who broke through the final line of defence to score.
From that moment on, Yass clawed their way back into the match and scored via Tom Warner who grabbed his eighth for the season.
With the halftime siren sounding, Chris Rawlinson attempted to kick a field goal but it rebounded off the Woden defence. The resulting bounce landed favourably for the Magpies but Woden defused the danger to ensure they went into the sheds with a 14-6 lead.
It took ten minutes for the first points in the second half to be awarded and it was Shaun Davis who crossed the line after receiving a great ball from Scott Naughton. Davis made no mistake from the tee to reduce the margin to two points.
The second half continued to be a much scrappier affair than the first as both sides struggled to keep hold of the ball.
However, the Rams managed to hold the Magpie off for the final half an hour to win 14-12.
West Belconnen Warriors 38 (Tries: M Campbell 2, J Duffey 2, T Aroha-Tuinauvai, D Killick-Moran, B Loughhead, R Thomas; Goals: L Keeley 3) d Gungahlin Bulls 8
The West Belconnen Warriors remain in second place after they comfortably beat the Gungahlin Bulls.
Ryley Thomas crossed the line in the opening two minutes before Daniel Killick-Moran bulldozed through the middle of the field to give West Belconnen the perfect start.
The Bulls hit back and scored out wide but Bayley Loughhead made light work of Gungahlin's defence to restore their lead.
In the second half, the Warriors moved the ball wide as wingers Matt Campbell and Jackson Duffey scored doubles.
Brad Scholes scored a consolation try for Gungahlin when he latched onto a well-placed grubber kick but the Warriors finished the match with a ty thanks to Tevita Aroha-Tuinauvai.
Tuggeranong Bushrangers 26 (Tries: J Mitchell 2, M Brophy, N Smith, J Martin; Goals: J Mitchell 3) d Goulburn Workers Bulldogs 12 (Tries: H Hodge, N Cornish; Goals: C Hart 2)
Two tries to Josh Mitchell helped the Tuggeranong Bushrangers maintain their spot at the top of the ladder and leave Goulburn's already slim finals chances hanging by a thread.
Mitchell set up the first try of the afternoon with a perfect cross-field kick which was collected by Michael Brophy.
The captain repeated the trick shortly afterwards with Jordan Martin reaping the benefits this time.
Mitchell scored his first of the afternoon midway through the first half as he crossed from dummy half but his opposite number Nick Cornish hit back for the Bulldogs with a similar effort.
Nathan Smith extended Tuggeranong's lead before halftime before Haydon Hodge scored for Goulburn minutes after the break.
Fittingly, Mitchell scored the final try of the match as he once again caught the markers napping to score from dummy half.
