Goulburn made a huge statement against the defending premiers, while the Warriors, Bushrangers and Magpies all claimed Round 3 wins.

The Goulburn Workers Bulldogs made a real statement as they defeated the reigning premiers by 20 points to maintain their place on top of the ladder.
Goulburn began the match with tries from Chris Hart and James Aubusson as they barged over from dummy half.
The Bulldogs extended their lead to 20 points before Woden opened their account via Steve Ferry.
Woden continued to chip away at Goulburn’s lead and brought the margin to within two points early in the second half when Kosta Posantzis scored.
However, Mitch Cornish and Aubusson claimed their doubles as Woden’s 15 match unbeaten run came to an end.

The Yass Magpies claimed their first win of the season in style as the piled on the points in the second half against the Gungahlin Bulls at Walker Park.
After conceding an early try, the Bulls took an early lead as Brad Woods and Brad Scholes both crossed the try line.
However, David Faaeteete grabbed a try before halftime to give Yass a 14-10 lead.
The second half was a different story as the Magpies scored six tries with Faaeteete and Phil Sparnon both scoring hattricks.
Tuggeranong Bushrangers 26 (Tries: D Low 2, J Kennedy, N Low, S Palahame; Goals: J Mitchell 3) d Belconnen United Sharks 24 (Tries: T Aroha-Tuinauvai 2, M Mapiou, S Tupoala; Goals: K Shepherdson 4)
Drury Low scored a double for his new club as the Tuggeranong Bushrangers edged out a plucky Belconnen United Sharks outfit at O’Connor.
Mun Mapiou gave the Sharks an early lead but the Bushrangers found plenty of joy down their right as Low scored his first before Jarrad Kennedy doubled the score.
The two sides continued trading tries but Sione Palahame scored for Tuggeranong after the break as the Bushrangers managed to get their noses in front.
Two tries to Tevita Aroha-Tuinauvai restored Belconnen’s lead but three minutes later Ngarima Low sealed the win for Tuggeranong.
West Belconnen Warriors 32 (Tries: A McDonald 2, R Thomas, B Withers, B Crisp, K Sione; Goals: B Crisp 4) d Queanbeyan Kangaroos 30 (Tries: L Ingram 2, N Ngere, T Williams, S Afemui; Goals: L Ingram 5)
Brent Crisp enjoyed his return to Seears Workwear Oval as the West Belconnen Warriors claimed a 32-30 win over the Queanbeyan Kangaroos.
The Kangaroos were boosted in the lead up to the match with former Canberra Raiders fullback Reece Robinson a late inclusion to play his first game for his new club.
The West Belconnen Warriors dominated the early stages of the match and opened the try scoring after eight minutes when a towering Brent Crisp kick was dropped by Kaine Pagura and gathered by Ryley Thomas.
Thomas then turned creator as he sent Andrew McDonald over for two tries in four minutes as the Warriors’ halves pairing of Bobby Roberts and Brent Crip continued to dominate.
Nukurua Ngere opened the Kangaroos’ trying scoring account as they scored the first time they entered the opposition 20 meters.
Tre Williams narrowed the margin to two points when he stepped his way through the defensive line.
However, the Warriors restored their lead before halftime as Crisp found Keresoma Sione who ran through a hole to score.
Lachie Ingram provided the Kangaroos with plenty of spark in the second half as the young playmaker scored two tries.
Between Ingram double, Crisp scored his first try against his former club as the five-eighth supported Ryley Thomas who broke the line before passing.
Brandon Withers scored for West Belconnen but Sione Afemui crashed over for the Kangaroos as they ensured the dying stages of the match would be tense.
