Goulburn reach grand final

Four tries to Steven Cummins and a double to Nick Cornish sealed the deal for the Bulldogs who will face the Queanbeyan Blues in the grand final next week.

The Bulldogs put up the first points of the match after winger Steven Cummins strolled over the line untouched to score the try.

Goulburn kept applying the pressure early on Tuggeranong after a long ball from Iziah Tittor allowed Cummins to score his second try for the day.

Mitch Cornish scored the Bulldogs’ third try after stepping through a lacklustre Bushrangers defence with ease.

With two minutes to go in the first half, Tuggeranong scored their first points after a kick from Wezley Alexander sat perfectly for centre Drury Low to score.

Goulburn picked up where they left off in the first half as Mitch Cornish put through a kick for his brother Nick Cornish to score his first try.

Nick Cornish scored his second try of the match shortly afterwards as he stepped his way through the defence to score under the posts.

The Bulldogs sealed the win after a 90 metre intercept try from Cummins gave him a hat-trick.

But Cummins wasn’t done yet, with five minutes left in the game the winger ran 90 metres off an intercept to score his fourth.

Goulburn played to the final seconds of the game after a very late try to Raiden Fonoti came after a short drop-out from Tuggeranong.
