The Canberra Raiders are currently looking to rent two properties to house development players in our system.
These young men have been recruited in recent times and are part of an exciting crop of talent that we have coming through.
This year we successfully implemented a group house for our young recruits and are now looking for properties to transition the older boys into assisted independent living.
Ideally, we would prefer two, three - four bedroom houses but units and townhouses will be considered.
The players would live in the properties unaccompanied but would be under the supervision of our House Parents and Wellbeing and Recruitment staff.
We would have in place a strict code of conduct and all the necessary financial arrangements.
All of our development players work outside rugby league and are mindful and respectful of their representation of the club and their obligations to the community in which they live.
We have no preference of location and would consider all options.
If you have a property that is available to rent and would like to be a part of this, please contact the Raiders Careers, Education and Welfare Manager, David Thom on dthom@raiders.com.au or 0418 485 032.
