The Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield continues this weekend after a successful return last weekend with the inclusion of two new expansion sides.

Woden Valley Rams v Harden Worhawks, Phillip Oval, 9:30am Saturday 7th May

The Woden Valley Rams will play their first match at home in-front of their home fans in what will be a special day for the inaugural women's tackle side.

The Rams were victorious in their debut match against the Bushrangers over the weekend, racking up a 28-14 win over their fierce club rivals.

Harden begun their season in disappointing fashion, going down 44-nil to the Queanbeyan Blues at their home of McLean Oval.

Woden will be celebrating an important day in the club's history, officially launching their team to commemorate their first home game of the season.

The Rams will be celebrating their annual 'Ladies Day' which includes a special jersey presentation from their famous Rams legacy squad from the 1990s.

Harden will be looking to spoil the party when they travel to Phillip Oval, chasing their first win of the season.

Yass Magpies v Tuggeranong Bushrangers, Walker Park, 12:00pm Saturday 7th May

Yass will be looking to make it two from two this weekend when they host the Tuggeranong Bushrangers at Walker Park this Saturday.

The reigning joint minor premiers faced off last Saturday, where Yass got the better of Goulburn once again, defeating them 30-18 at home.

The Bushrangers on the other hand sadly went down 28-14 to the Rams at home.

The Bushies trailed 24-nil and looked to spark a comeback in the second half after scoring two quick tries. But, the Rams scored a late try to put the game out of reach to seal the win.

This shapes up to be a great clash, as Yass look to continue their undefeated streak at home over the past two seasons.

Queanbeyan Blues v South Coast United, Seiffert Oval, 12:00pm Saturday 7th May

The Blues will play their first game back at their home of Seiffert Oval when they take on the new face of the competition, the South Coast United Marlins.

The South Coast side picked up the two competition points in their debut match of the Katrina Fanning Shield, when they held off the UC Stars 8-nil at Mackay Park last weekend.

The Blues travelled to McLean Oval to take on the Harden Worhawks and racked up a huge 44-nil victory over the out of town side.

Both sides will be looking to start their season two for two when they match-up this Saturday afternoon.

UC Stars v Boomanulla Raiders, Raiders Belconnen, 1:00pm Saturday 7th May

The UC Stars will search to bounce back after their thrilling 8-nil defeat to the South Coast United, when they return home to take on the Boomanulla Raiders.

The Raiders who are fresh of a bye round, will be looking to improve upon last season when they finished last on the ladder.

The Stars will be looking to salute in-front of their home fans on the special event of 'Ladies Day' at Raiders Belconnen on Saturday.

There's an expected huge crowd to support all three UC sides on Saturday afternoon, as both of these sides will be chasing their first win of the season.
