Congratulations to Zac Saddler of the Tuggeranong Bushrangers for his selection at prop in the 2022 Canberra Raiders Cup Team of the Year.
Zac had an incredible season at the Tuggeranong Bushrangers, leading the South-side club from the front and earning a top four finish in the Canberra Raiders Cup finals series.
Saddler, being one of the prolific signings for the 2022 season, had expectations on his back since day dot.
The former Manly Sea Eagles representative well and truly fulfilled them this season, proving why he is one of the best young forwards in our game.
Zac's a tall mobile front rower who plays with a ton of aggression although it's his ball playing skills which makes him incredibly dangerous.
Coach Jason Kelly made the mid-season switch for Zac, moving him from the middle onto an edge where he hit devastating form at the back-end of the year.
A try-scoring forward, Saddler crossed for 10 tries in 16 matches including a try-double in the minor semi-final against the Blues.
Zac has showed his loyalty to the Bushrangers, re-signing with the club for a further season where he will look to continue his form and compete for a premiership in 2023.
